Yesterday saw the whole of the U.K changing locations, well that's how it felt as we drove from Southampton to London for a visit to Bill's in Richmond.
A quick trip to Wandsworth to deposit all that was Christmas at my Son's and his girlfriends apartment, then off to Richmond to visit Bill's restaurant. I've mentioned Bill's before in a previous blog, the one in Lewes East Sussex is one of my favourite places to eat. Recently Bill's have been popping up all over London and a few outlying areas. As a chain of restaurants they are good, but I don't think you can beat the one in Lewes where you eat amongst all the amazing fruit and veg. I love the fact that you can ask what is in your salad and then buy the very same whole raw fruit and veg to take home. We have been going to Bill's for the last eight years, and have seen it progress to what it is today, some very hard work has been undertaken to get to where Bill's is now, the owner deserves all his success. Check out Bill's new Cook Book called 'Cook Eat Smile', amazing recipes and pictures. It reminds me of the original Lewes shop, buy fresh local ingredients, cook simply, make it look visually stunning, and eat well.
