Birthday.

We celebrated a birthday, even though its not until the 17th February. They flew in in their helicopter, or did they? We had presents, food, fun, and sparklers! My small son's are now men, they have their own lives, I miss them, they have become totally independent, we taught them to be like this, we are very proud of them.

It's just sometimes it would be nice to step back to when they were little, to read them stories, to take them  to feed the ducks or jump in puddles , just for a little while, then they can return to their new independent adult lives, and so can I.
