Happy Mothers Day to all you mums out there, I visited my mum today, she is 91 and lives in a care home.
We had raspberry friands, lovely cards, flowers, and best of all, a 22inch Happy Mother's Day helium balloon, that when tapped woke up Tina Turner singing 'You'r simply the best', in her best belt it out voice. Fabulous!
My mum insisted on holding onto the balloon incase it floated away and every time a new person came into the lounge she would tap the balloon and laugh!
Mother's day all sorted, everyone happy.
