Today my black tulips have come to life they have been small green buds for ages.

As I'm having a black themed day I thought I would paint some things ready to go in my new cloakroom, Annie Sloan paints are brilliant and so easy to use, I have given a shelf and a mirror a coat of Country Grey then Graphite on top, aged them so the country Grey shows through then waxed them, I will show you them when all is finished. Work starts tomorrow on the cloakroom so I will blog the progress.
