Autumn has arrived.

Autumn has arrived in our home and garden, it is my favourite time of year. Beautiful colours, amazing food, nice walks, cosy evenings, pumpkins and squashes (not just for halloween),  and if you are really lucky a trip to New England for the fall.

Great colour and texture in all the different squashes, I'm sure you should cook them into wonderful dishes but I just like looking at them!

Happy Jack my bit of rust, remember I'm very partial to a bit of rust and moss.

And now for the garden which just seems to have shifted into Autumn on its own.

I've discovered these amazing sunflowers with green middles, thousands and thousands of petals. Isn't nature quite clever?

Note the mini pumpkin in her hair, Theia only does subtle.

I always have a wreath on my door. Indian corn fits the bill for this time of year.

We are still eating these Nastursiums in our salads, a great peppery taste.

We are unfortunately not in New England this fall but here is something to tease you and me!

Yes it truly does look like this, just breath taking, and our favourite place to be.
