Here are the last of my photographs of the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden, maybe it will entice you to visit over this bank holiday weekend. Enjoy the three days whatever you do. I will be gardening, sewing, eating, sleeping, reading and generally keeping out of the way of the masses and the traffic.
This saturday was a catch up day with my two sons and Rosie, Tom's girlfriend. We decided to go to the Hannah Peschar Sculpture Garden in the Surrey Hills district. I have been before a few times and just love it.
Lower Margate, a holiday home in Cornwall is in for a treat today, because a very talented guy called Ian Whittingtonis visiting the house to make a video for the new website.
Last week we had a little trip away to one of our favourite places to stay, Odle Farm in Devon.
Whilst inCornwall I bought a copy of Cornwall Life where I spotted an advert for a quilt shop called Cowslip Workshops, it looked interesting, was on the way home, so I put it on the list.
The gardens at Lanhydrock house are as stunning as the house itself, they are quite sheltered and seem to thrive in that Cornish almost tropical climate that you find in enclosed garden spaces.
This is Lanhydrock House near Bodmin in Cornwall, it belongs to the National Trust and is a five minute drive away from Lower Margate house.
I have been lucky enough to have been asked to review a holiday cottage in Cornwall. I had seen pictures of this newly acquired holiday home and thought it looked beautiful, in reality it is far more lovely. Lower Margate is situated on the edge of Cardinham Woods near Bodmin, it is a grade II listed farmhouse which has a relaxing country feel to it.
Today I am mostly building a new web site for my quilts, I say today, it has been going on for weeks. The difference with today is that I am determined to get it sorted and will not leave my seat until I have, this may involve loss of hair and lots of not nice words being hurled around, it's a good job I only have my cat Treacle for company.
